How fast can I get a marine certificate?+
For open-cover clients, certificates are issued within the same working hour. For single shipments, usually within 24 hours of receiving the invoice and B/L.
Is marine insurance mandatory in Kenya?+
Yes. Since 2017, KRA requires all imports into Kenya to be insured with a locally licensed insurer — a foreign-issued policy is no longer accepted.
